Ben Smith is CrossFit Krypton’s head coach and one of the top CrossFit athletes in the world.  Ben was an avid baseball player his entire life, but he stumbled upon CrossFit and officially started competing in 2009 and has never looked back.  He competed in the Mid-Atlantic Regionals that year and won.  Since then, he has competed in the 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012 CrossFit Games and has placed 64th, 8th, 3rd, and 11th respectively.

Ben’s personal philosophy is that through hard work and dedication anything is possible. He has found that anything worth doing in life should be done to the best of a person’s ability, and this includes CrossFit.

Adam Klink is CrossFit Krypton’s newest coach and has been a premiere athlete throughout his entire life. In high school, he was a tri-sport athlete and received the NSCAA/ Adidas All-American award for soccer. He continued his successful soccer career in college and served four years as goalkeeper for the Rutgers University Men’s Soccer Team. There he won Rutgers Men’s Soccer Student Athlete of the Year and graduated with a degree in Sports Management. After a career-ending soccer injury, Adam found a new passion – CrossFit. He competed in the 2013 CrossFit Games Northeast Regionals and continues to work towards his goal of competing at the CrossFit Games.

Adam enjoys CrossFit because of the challenges that it forces you to face - both physically and mentally. He loves the power of camaraderie and sportsmanship that makes up the CrossFit community and that this sport provides the opportunity for anyone and everyone to become an athlete and overall better person.
